The Arctic League has been around since 1912. It started as a way to help the disadvantaged have what they needed.

“There was a gentleman which they called Friday that they noticed did not have good shoes or clothes. So, they did a collection for him. And then they realized that there was other kids in the area that needed that. So, they started collecting things to give away,” said Karen Miller Ring, the Vice President of Arctic League.
