Hamas hands over Israeli soldier Agam Berger to the Red Cross in Gaza


A live television broadcast shows Israeli soldier Agam Berger being handed over to the Red Cross by masked gunmen in the Gaza Strip.

In total, three Israelis are expected to be freed on Thursday, including German-Israelis Arbel Yehud and Gadi Moses.

Five Thai nationals that have also been held since October 7, 2023 are also set for release. Their identities were not immediately known.

The Times of Israel previously reported that the hostages are likely to be released at different times and locations.

In exchange, 110 Palestinians held in Israeli jails are set to be released.

Two rounds of releases have already taken place as part of an initial six-week ceasefire in Gaza.
