Coldest night of this Arctic blast ahead before a major warm-up

What We’re Tracking
-
Sunny weather through the weekend
Clearing sky and Arctic air still in place for tonight as temperatures bottom out between -10° to -15° early Thursday morning before the cold air begins its retreat. Wind chills may even dip into the -20s to near -30° by morning, as well.
Thursday’s high temperatures make it back into the lower 10s, but we should see more sunshine for both Thursday and Friday. Friday will be a bit warmer in the middle to upper 20s.
Once the very cold air moves east, temperatures warm back up by the weekend. We should continue that warming trend into next week, as well. In fact, temperatures should climb into the upper 40s or lower 50s by Sunday with lower 60s possible early next week!
